Negotiating a Lease of Agricultural Land For Solar Enterprise
Doug Tibble led our team in advising our farming client regarding negotiating and entering into the lease of its agricultural land with a major nationwide electrical power provider for a future solar farming enterprise. The complex documentation included several phases of the potential development, future options for the lessee, various possible configurations of the property and multiple take downs. The transaction also required coordination with tenant farmers to ensure crop yields were maintained and to avoid interference with the proposed solar array.
