
Dishonest Heir Sells Client’s Inheritance
Despite three adult children inheriting real estate from their mother and one fraudulently selling the property to a third-party and absconding with all the proceeds, Douglas Tibble was able to recover our two clients’ portions of the property sale from the buyer’s title insurance policy. While the absconding brother and his ill-gotten gains have yet to be recovered, our clients and the estate were made whole.
