CBOT Arbitration

Mark Schroeder represented an options trading firm and its partners in a Chicago Board of Trade arbitration hearing in which Mark’s clients were sued by a former partner seeking trading profits earned after his termination. Mark blocked a lawsuit seeking a jury trial, forcing arbitration instead. The arbitration panel ruled that the former partner was not owed any more in compensation than what our clients offered, and denying the former partner’s claim for additional compensation and attorneys’ fees.
