Mr. Schaffer is a Fellow of both the American and International Academies of Matrimonial Law. Of the fifteen IAML Illinois Fellows, he is one of the only two outside of Cook County. Mr. Schaffer concentrates his practice in Matrimonial Litigation, including divorce, custody, support and property division. Mr. Schaffer is a frequent national author and lecturer on matrimonial law topics. Mr. Schaffer is highly involved in the Illinois State Bar Association, having been Chair of the ISBA Family Law Section Council and an elected member of the ISBA Assembly. He is currently editor of the Family Law Newsletter as well as a member of the Illinois Bar Journal Editorial Board. Mr. Schaffer is a member of the American, Will County and DuPage County Bar Associations and their respective Family Law Committees. |
